About Us

What separates Alfredo's Gallery is the quaint and beautiful New England setting in Suffield, Connecticut. Suffield is located on the Connecticut River between Hartford, Connecticut and Springfield, Massachusetts. Suffield is proud of its heritage beginning as a farming community in 1670 and presently maintains a delicate balance between its early colonial roots and today's modern life style. Located in a rural setting yet in close proximity to the cities of Springfield and Hartford, as well as Bradley International Airport. This proximity attracts business, while offering quick access to I-91 with easy commuting up and down the Connecticut River Valley from Vermont and New Hampshire to the Long Island Sound.

The town center boasts a small shopping complex, an excellent library and recent expansions of public buildings, as well as commercial property. The town is rich in contrasts with sweeping fields, forested hills, a picturesque Main Street, farms, shopping areas, and the Congamond Lakes. There are over 43 square miles of countryside. Sunrise Park offers a lake, hiking trails, picnic and recreation areas to town residents. Other lands are being preserved through conservation / preservation acts.

Alfredo's was founded in 1996 in the town of Amherst, Massachusetts, moved to Northampton, MA and then to Suffield in 2007. Visitors and customers, from near and far, have consistently commented that Alfredo’s is one of the finest galleries in the country... if not anywhere. We consider them the best critics of all and always listen keenly to their input. Alfredo's has a regular rotation of exhibits from a variety of artists and subject matter. Both black & white and color are featured. Alfredo’s Gallery has been active in the arts being instrumental in initiating an Art Walk in Amherst and an Arts Night Out in Northampton.

Alfredo's also carries photographs from some special collections such as those from the personal collection of Frank Sinatra; from master photographer Fred Stein (amazing black & whites from the 30s and 40s); from the D'Addario brothers including a collection on Muhammad Ali; and several featured local artists. Alfredo was a co-founder of the Pioneer Valley Photographic Artists that now has approximately 65 world-class photographers as members.
